Im writing this review as I sit in the restaurant. First off ANYTHING below 4 stars I believe the reviewer believed this restaurant was included in the hotel reservation. Unfortunately it is not part of the reservation, but we'll worth the visit. The cocktails here are amazing and the best I've ever had. The French onion soup was ABSOUTELY out of this world. The caesar salad missed the mark just a touch but nothing to write home about. The new york strip was cooked and seasoned beautifully and some of the best steak and cut ive had. The ahi tuna steak was cooked to perfection and absolutely melted in your mouth. The bread pudding...just try it the review writes itself.

This was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We indulged in the Wagyu steak and the crab cake, both of which were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were equally impressive, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship. Stephanie provided exceptional service, and I sincerely hope to have her as our waitress again in the future!

Gorgeous views, great coffee, lovely breakfast, and fantastic service! We will be back!

My husband and I are vacationing at Rocky Gap Hotel and Casino. This morning we had breakfast at the Lakeside Restaurant. The food was outstanding!! Tameka, our server, was exceptional! She was pleasant and our service was great! Stephanie, the manager seated us. She was so kind and a true pleasure to chat with! We were, however, very surprised by the wait time to be seated. My husband and I only noticed 3 servers and no employees bussing the tables. We had no idea that Stephanie was the manager until we asked someone. She was really hustling to clear and prepare the table in addition to seating customers. She and the other women who were taking care of everything; cleaning off the tables, wiping everything down, taking orders and delivering the food. They were impressive but I can only imagine how difficult it must be to handle all of those responsibilities. My husband and I can’t imagine how challenging it must be for the staff especially with the busy season approaching. Kudos to Stephanie and her team!!!

I took my Mom here on 5-11-2024 for an early Mother's Day dinner. Food was great, service was great, and atmosphere was great. I was able to reserve a table by the window and it really made for a really nice dinner experience for my family and I. Cathy, our server, was hustling, but remained attentive and friendly. Even if a restaurant has great food but terrible service, I typically won't return. This place has it all, but even if it didn't, I'd return to have Cathy as a server. Thank you for helping me make my Mom's mother's day enjoyable!

Thank you Lakeside Grille for making my fiance birthday dinner so special this evening! First, our server, Shannon, was simply the best. He was on the ball all evening and calm, cool and collected despite having multiple tables. Shannon checked with the kitchen on not having pico de gallo in the Fiesta Salad since I don't like tomatoes, which I sincerely appreciated. He even gave my fiance a birthday dessert of his choice on the house at the end of the meal, complete with a candle to blow out! Shannon, thank you for making dinner extra special tonight. For 63, we had the brussel sprouts, fiesta salad, bleu cheese and steak alfredo, and two soft drinks. The food was delicious! Brussel sprouts had a light sriracha butter that added a little heat, the pasta was tasty and steak cut with ease. The salad could have benefited from more dressing, less lettuce and more black beans, corn and Mexican rice because the filling was so good. Very reasonable prices for such a nice restaurant on the lake with excellent service. The restaurant has beautiful decor with exposed beams, industrial lighting and comfortable seating. Beautiful views! Lakeside Grille at Rocky Gap is a must-stop restaurant whether you're staying at the resort or in the area!

Stopped in and tried Lakeside while meeting family in the area. The atmosphere is great with stunning views! The food was good and the staff was super friendly. We were the only family with kids at the time, and they gave them a free dessert for behaving so well. We will return for sure.

Had a great breakfast at the restaurant and our server Dana was great. The views of the lake are really nice and the atmosphere of the restaurant just as nice. I haven’t been here in over 5 yesrs where this restaurant was a buffet style restaurant. Seems to be a nice improvement.
